If you’re looking for more space without moving, a loft conversion or a rear extension could be the right decision for your property.

But when is the right time of year to start work on this project?

In an ideal situation Spring & Summer is the best time, whilst it can be done all year around, the spring – summer with its typically milder dryer weather would be less drafty and less disruption to work, as well as more day light hours.

The winter months can be a little more unpredictable, heavy rain and weather, causing delays and disruption to the limited daylight working hours available.
